Adult (16+) Introduction to Pukulan

Adult martial artists kicking from the ground.

You will start your pukulan training by learning striking from the ground. By starting on the ground, you immediately have balance and stability. You will learn how to hit, where to hit, and the elements of effective self-defense. Stretching and strength conditioning prepare your body for the journey ahead.

As you continue training over the months and years, you will progressively build your skills, integrating the spirit of pukulan’s four animals into your movement.

One With Heart’s lead teacher and founder Janesa Kruse has been teaching martial arts and women’s self-defense in Portland for over 35 years. She was rated one of the top ten tournament fighters in the United States during her fighting career.
